Part of the local community
Back in 1964, the people of the Northern Rivers community were looking for a more flexible, approachable, and responsible banking alternative. Six decades later and Summerland Bank is still delivering more of what the locals want, with community at the heart of all that we do.
Gold Coast Hospital partners
The Gold Coast Hospital’s annual Giving Day is a crucial event held to raise funds for specialised and often expensive equipment for children. We were proud to be a part of their Giving Day and contribute to this worthy cause.
Bangalow Koalas
We are proud to sponsor the Bangalow Koalas over a three-year period to support the Northern Rivers corridor. Our investment focuses on purchasing, planting, and maintaining trees to create a sustainable habitat for koalas.
Raised funds for Pala
Pala is a young joey from Larnook who suffered from mild dehydration but recovered well and joined the crew at Koala Kindy. Pala loves to cuddle and eat eucalyptus leaves. Thanks to funds raised, Pala is back to full health.
Our Rising Stars scholarship
Awarded a new three-year scholarship to Isabella Dowd as part of Southern Cross Universities ‘Rising Stars’ program where we have been helping local students with their studies since 1994.
