What’s the biggest perk of your job?
I love living locally
Living and working locally is the biggest of perks. My local community is my customer base, and being able to instantly recognise who walks into branch enjoying friendly banter and catch ups, makes every day more enjoyable. Being part of the local community provides a sense of belonging and connection which fosters meaningful relationships with our people including local businesses and community organisations.
Celebrating with community our local events
I love participating in my local community events because they make me feel connected and happy. There’s always something fun and interesting going on, whether it’s a festival, a fundraiser, a workshop, or a game night. I get to meet new people, learn new things, and support causes that I care about. It’s a great way to give back and have fun at the same time. I think community events are important for building trust, friendship, and solidarity among neighbours. That’s why I always look forward to the next one!
