Michelle Heyman reaches W-League milestone

On January 14th Michelle Heyman made her 100th W-League appearance.

Michelle made the day even more special by scoring the opening goal in a 2-nil win over Western Sydney Wanderers.

Starting her W-League Career with a short stint with Sydney FC in 2008-09 season, she moved to Central Coast Mariners in the off season. In her first appearance for Central Coast she scored a double against her old club. In 2009 Michelle won the Golden Boot for most goals scored as well as the Julie Dolan Medal as the player of the season.

Moving to Canberra United, Michelle cemented herself as a key player by being the lead goal scorer in the league, as Canberra United won the W-League premiership/championship double in the 2011–12 season.

Not only an exceptional footballer, Michelle is an incredible role model for footballers across the world.
