Rob and Sue Harnett along with Peter and Sue Clarke are the owners and operators of Tweed Valley Whey Farmhouse Cheeses; a fourth generation family owned artisan dairy business based in the picturesque Burringbar Valley, north of Byron Bay.

With a dairy herd of over 100 cows, the warm climate and lush green pastures all year around create some of the creamiest A Grade quality milk, which then flows into the gourmet cheeses that are all created on site. The cheese factory encourages visitors and bus groups (by appointment) to drop in and experience the delicious cheeses and produce of the Northern Rivers. Artisan cheeses, butter and yoghurts are all availalbe for purchase at the Farmhouse Shop. The outlet also sells local salami, macadamia nuts, handcrafted jams, relishes plus arts and crafts. Take the opportunity to experience fresh tea, coffee and scones with jam and cream at the Farmhouse Café – the perfect way to end your visit.
